The Older Womens Network has been a vital strong and consistent voice for older women in NSW for more than 35 years. From the early days of settlement by Captain James Birnie the Sutherland Shire has grown from only 1 500 to now well over 215 000 residents making it the second largest shire in NSW in terms of population size.
